Sagamore Beach, MA February 17, 2005 - The Cape Cod Technology Council has been a Web & Internet hosting client of Fishnet NewMedia for many years, so when the Council's new Executive Director, Teresa Martin, asked Fishnet to participate in the Council’s new Web site Committee the company was happy to do so. Teresa gave the committee a goal – to launch a new Web site that would be announced at the Annual Meeting. The new Web site officially launched today - on time and under budget - and can be found at www.capetech.com.

In addition to integrating the new logo design created by Council member and designer Jim Hill of Digital Quill Design, Fishnet added new functionality into the Web site to facilitate keeping the site updated (content management) and interacting with site visitors. The following AHOY.COM Web Solutions were installed on www.capetech.com:

News Manager: This database application is used to add Press Releases and other items to the News section of the Web site and to manage the News Highlights that dynamically display on the right side of the Home page.

eCalendar: This database application is used to maintain the Calendar section of the Web site and link events to a secure online registration page. Members of the Cape Cod Technology Council can also contribute event information to the eCalendar.

Event Registration & Secure Payment: This database application is used to create and process secure event registration and payment forms.

Member Directory & Job Posting: This database application is used to manage Cape Cod Technology Council member accounts, the Member Directory section of the Web site and the Cape Jobs section of the Web site. Member accounts permit members to maintain their own Profile and Job Listings.

Contact & eMail Manager: This database application manages contact information entered into the Contact Us form on the Web site. It can also be used to generate, send and track email correspondence.
